The chef Strono Tuggs, a member of the Artiodac species, initially sampled the drink called a Scarif Slush at a modest resort located on the planet Scarif. This occurred well before the Galactic Empire's Death Star superweapon devastated the world in 1 BBY. The recipe for the Scarif Slush was secretly taken off Scarif sometime before the destruction, which resulted in the oceans boiling and the planet losing its appeal as a vacation spot. This allowed Tuggs to feature the recipe, along with a reference to the resort, in The Life Day Cookbook, his second cookbook, which he published sometime after his first cookbook in 34 ABY.
Jenn Fujikawa and Marc Sumerak mentioned the resort in their 2021 recipe book, Star Wars: The Life Day Cookbook.
