"Unseen, Unheard" is a black and white comic book story spanning six pages, originally published in Star Wars Tales 24 and later included in the collection Star Wars Tales Volume 6. The narrative unfolds from the point of view of Visas Marr, chronicling her transformation into Darth Nihilus's apprentice following the destruction of the Jedi Conclave at Katarr.
The story occurs 4,000 years before the Galactic Empire's rise to power. On the [Mid Rim](/article/mid_rim-legends] colony planet of Katarr, a female member of the Miraluka species peacefully observes the beauty of her world using the Force, completely unaware that her people's existence is about to end in less than an hour. Without their knowledge, their Force-sensitive race has drawn the attention of a unique Sith Lord who maintains his life force by feeding on death through the Force.
The Devastation of Katarr, caused by the Sith Lord's immense Force powers, sends a reverberating echo through the Force. The female Miraluka experiences the deaths of all living beings on her planet through the screams of countless souls. Rendered unconscious and on the brink of death, she is taken aboard the Ravager, the Sith Lord's seemingly ruined ship, where her injuries are treated.
When she awakens, the Miraluka finds herself in an unfamiliar place, uncertain of why she was spared. Seeking out the Sith Lord, she suddenly understands that the Sith Lord's intention is for her people to finally see.
