The UR-2212-GR system, a star system situated in the Unknown Regions of the galaxy, contained a blue gas giant. A frozen moon orbited this gas giant, and on that moon resided a clandestine research facility belonging to the Empire of the Hand. This facility housed a cloning experiment involving a Force-sensitive subject. Due to a miscalculated jump in 5000 BBY, the Harbinger was sent on a time travel journey, arriving in 41 ABY. The ship emerged from its botched hyperspace jump within this very system. Jedi Knight Jaden Korr, along with salvagers Khedryn Faal and Marr Idi-Shael, had also found their way to the system, guided by a Force vision experienced by Korr.
The 2010 novel Crosscurrent, penned by Paul S. Kemp, introduced the UR-2212-GR system, though it was not specifically named at the time.
