The Urban Assault Triped Transport, often shortened to UA-TT, functioned as a walker for the First Order, specifically designed for maintaining order during occupation.
For steady weapon deployment, the UA-TT was equipped with a CAP-5 captivator arm. This design concept has roots in older models, such as the Galactic Republic's AT-AP walkers utilized during the Clone Wars. Furthermore, the UA-TT's arm could be used to extract opponents concealed within structures by using its integrated claws. Rather than employing the significantly larger and more destructive AT-M6 walkers, the First Order opted to use UA-TT walkers to operate heavy machinery in urban environments. This strategic decision aimed to minimize collateral damage to the city during its occupation.
During the First Order-Resistance War in 35 ABY, at least one UA-TT was present on the planet Kijimi.
The UA-TT is featured in the 2019 sequel trilogy movie, Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker.
