Greetings Cade! Could you please undo the change on the Darth Malak page? I was in the process of correcting the LEGO set information, but it was reverted https://lego.com/en-us/product/r2-d2-75379 Elijah Palmer (talk) 20:02, 28 December 2024 (UTC)
Hi Cade, I appreciate your recent efforts in tidying up article titles and redirecting duplicate or unconfirmed ones to the appropriate pages. I'm writing to inquire whether, when you perform a redirect, you could incorporate the content from the original article into the target article. To illustrate, I recently had to re-add all the details from the Lioaoin cruiser page to heavy cruiser, Lioaoin patrol craft to patrol ship, and so on. I'll be reviewing the new ship redirects to integrate that data into the main pages. Thank you, and happy holidays. --Vitus InfinitusTalk 05:48, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
Hello Cade, I'd like to request some clarification regarding your redirect of Republic space tug to TUG-314. You mentioned that the two vessels are identical in the reasoning, but in reality, they are entirely separate vehicles. The Republic space tug appears to be larger and features a significantly different, bulkier hull design with a dissimilar bridge compared to the TUG-314. This hull also incorporates a prominent central ridge extending from the bridge to the engines, complete with engine flaps, port and starboard docking tube clamps, and lacks the radar dish and antennas. --Vitus InfinitusTalk 06:16, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
- I've included a link here for the Republic space tug concept and here with TUG-314. It's evident that they are distinct vehicles. -- Vitus Infinitus Talk 06:19, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
Why did you remove the category? I was attempting to assist. Elijah Palmer (talk) 22:40, 31 December 2024 (UTC)
I'm writing to inquire about The Betrayal of Darth Revan adventure. I've searched for it online but haven't been able to locate it. I checked for the book on archive.com, but it wasn't there. I've heard it's supposed to be a Web Enhancement, but I've also explored the archived Web Enhancement pages on this page without success.
Could you possibly offer any assistance?
Thank you.

- It was an unauthorized adventure that was released outside of WOTC's control, so it's not included in the official timeline. That's also why it's not available online; it was only presented at a live convention and never published on the WOTC website. Cade Calrayn 02:32, 2 January 2025 (UTC)
Considering that the Short Story, Light and Shadow, is available online despite being unlicensed, should it be added to the Media timeline?
Hagane no Saiyajin (talk) January 2, 2025, 11:16 (EST)
- Unofficial content is not included, period. The timeline is used to maintain a consistent order for all appearances across the site, and unofficial content is not listed in the main Appearances section. Cade Calrayn 04:21, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
When viewing the Legends timeline, I'm curious as to why everything occurring between Episode III and Episode IV is categorized under the "Rise of the Empire era." By that point, hasn't the Empire already ascended to power and taken over? It seems there's no further need for a "rise." I believe placing that content under a title such as "Age of the Empire era" or simply "Empire era" would be more fitting. Hagane no Saiyajin (talk) January 3, 2025, 17:59 (EST)
- The headings correspond to the official publishing periods utilized by Lucasfilm and Del Rey. The Rise of the Empire era actually extends all the way to ANH. Cade Calrayn 23:07, 3 January 2025 (UTC)
Under which category do books like The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force (real-life book) and The Journal of Master Gnost-Dural (real-life book) belong? Are they promotional material? Adventure/scenario? Gamebook? Or novel? Hagane no Saiyajin (talk) January 3, 2025, 17:59 (EST)

Reference material. I recently dedicated a significant amount of time to adding every valid appearance to the media timeline, and it is now maintained and tracked by an automated system, so anything not included there shouldn't be included at all. Cade Calrayn 20:22, 4 January 2025 (UTC)

Why was The Betrayal of Darth Revan re-added to the Media Timeline, even though, as mentioned previously, it's unlicensed, unavailable, and shouldn't be included? Hagane no Saiyajin ( talk ) January 4, 2025, 17:59 (EST)
I've observed that the short story collection Life Day Treasury is listed on User:C4-DE Bot/Canon Missing. The individual short stories are all present on the Timeline. Is this being flagged by the bot simply because the book has an Appearances section? There probably shouldn't be one, similar to other short story collections. Thanks! Hello, I'm contacting you to inquire about the possibility of using the template on a wiki I contribute to, w:c:HypixelSkyblock. I'd like to utilize its tabs, as they could be highly beneficial on numerous pages within our wiki. However, I'd like to obtain permission before using code created by someone else. Given that it originated in 2008, it's unlikely I'll receive a response from the original creator, but you're an active editor and an administrator, which is why I'm reaching out to you.

I've recently noticed that the MC80 page pertaining to the Home One Type has been renamed to MC80A Home One Type Heavy Star Cruiser. While I acknowledge that this name has appeared at least once in the past 40 years of sources, I'm questioning the necessity of changing from one canonical name to another, especially considering the numerous issues it introduces. This is a well-established page with many existing links, all of which will need to be updated to reflect the new name. This is a substantial undertaking that will consume time that could be better spent elsewhere. The second issue is readability. Wookieepedia is fundamentally an information repository, and it's crucial that we avoid unnecessary complexity when canon allows. In this instance, I believe we've made an error. The name MC80 Home One type Star Cruiser was straightforward, effectively conveying that it was one of two types of MC80. Simply referring to it as a cruiser avoids the issue of inconsistent classifications. This page previously referred to this type of vessel as a battleship, which is also supported by canon. To further confuse readers, the new name has been mistaken for the actual MC80a Star Cruiser, a distinct and more recent series of standardized warships. The letter 'A' distinguishes these cruisers from the Liberty Type and Home One Type, with the latter's successor identified by a 'B'. Combining both the 'A' and Home One-Type will only lead to greater confusion. I understand the desire to mirror the other continuity, but they are incompatible. As stated in the behind-the-scenes section of the canon article: "In the old Expanded Universe, the MC80a and MC80 Home One type Star Cruiser were two separate models. This was changed, however, in the canon book Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know, Updated and Expanded, which describes both designations belonging to the MC80" Given that Legends isn't bound by Disney Canon, I recommend reversing the name change and prioritizing internal coherence within these continuities, rather than attempting to bridge the divide. I acknowledge that I'm unaware of the reasoning behind your decision, but I hope we can discuss this further. RC-0407 (talk) (CET 22:55 09/01/2025)
- I don't really see the issue. Firstly, the article you linked to is the canon page, which has not been moved. Secondly, the name was used by an official Legends source, full stop. And in regards to your point about links, the vast majority have already been fixed. Per our naming policy, we use the most formal name, and that's the MC80A. End of story. Cade Calrayn 22:05, 9 January 2025 (UTC) This is not the end of the story. We must all be accountable for our work. Since you outrank me as an administrator I'll abide by your final decision. But I've read the Wookieepedia:Naming policy and it doesn't specify which name is more official. Both are used in the legends sources. One arguably more than the other. But I don't buy the argument that the protracted name takes precedence because of a personal preference. There is nothing that makes it more official than the other. If you have more insight to this issue please then I wish to learn. RC-0407 (talk) (CET 23:33 09/01/2025)
Hi! On Timeline of Legends media, both categories are grouped together as "young," causing nothing to appear when hiding all categories except CB. The color associated with CB is being applied to both categories. I'm unsure how to resolve this. Thanks! Rebelcrimsonbear (talk) 21:13, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
It is considered canon that the Special Operations Brigade functions as an intelligent organization within both the Grand Army of the Republic and, subsequently, the Galactic Empire. If you choose not to accept this, that is your prerogative; as the Administrator, your decision is final. Additionally, AnilSerifoglu is no longer an Administrator, effective January 19th. GormCyborg (talk) 06:24, 19 January 2025 (UTC)
Seriously, can you comprehend? The Guide to the Grand Army of the Republic explicitly states that all clone commandos were members of the Special Operations Brigade.
- I am aware of that. However, that doesn't automatically make every unit that a commando worked with part of the Brigade. It's akin to claiming that every group a Jedi ever collaborated with was a Jedi organization. Cade Calrayn 14:58, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
Michael, it appears that you're trying to exclude me from Wookieepedia by removing important categories, monitoring my edits, and asserting your superiority simply because you're an administrator. There's no need to be envious because I'm attempting to clean up the mess on Wookieepedia. I might consider leaving Wookieepedia altogether. Furthermore, your statement (Overcategorization, and overassumptions/fanon used to populate it) doesn't make you inclusive; instead, it involves fabricating nonsense and reverting my edits. Given that you joined in 2010, you should exhibit more maturity on Wookieepedia after 15 years...GormCyborg (talk) 16:18, 23 January 2025 (UTC)

I apologize if it seems like I'm singling you out; that's not my intention. I stand by the rationale behind my reversions, though. We have well-defined sourcing rules and policies regarding assumptions and extrapolations like the ones you're making. Cade Calrayn 16:24, 23 January 2025 (UTC)

Oh, OK. Good to know, I suppose. GormCyborg ( talk ) 16:34, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
If we are going to put so much effort into distinguishing between the canon and the legends cruiser even though neither continuity is consistent about the spelling then we should at least clarify the situation for the casual reader. On a regular page I would just add a You-may-be—looking-for…? Tag to point people in the direction of its opposite counterpart. But this is a category which already has a description. Alternatively we could try to add a top bar with a Canon and Legends box. Either way we have got to do something because two letters is too narrow a margin of error for the Standards of Wookieepedia. Cade, in Star Wars Empire at War, the Rebellion employs Z-95s until they are phased out in favor of X-Wings. Should it be included in the starship classes of the Alliance to Restore the Republic category? Warmaster 24 (talk) 05:32, 9 February 2025 (UTC)
Cade, it's stated that The GAR (Grand Army of the Republic) utilized these recon speeders for frontline support operations and reconnaissance ahead of larger Republic vehicles during the Clone Wars. Should it be included in that category? Also, you haven't responded to my previous message regarding the Z-95 Headhunter affiliation. I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts on both subjects. Thanks Warmaster 24 (talk) 03:02, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
Hello Cade! The official product packaging refers to it as Anakin's Naboo N-1 Starfighter. https://www.target.com/p/star-wars-n-1-starfighter-and-action-figure-playset/-/A-89101695 Elijah Palmer (talk) 21:46, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
