Sister V'Kara was a Sarravi woman residing in the Holy City located on the lunar surface of Jedha during the High Republic Era. In approximately 382 BBY, after several thefts occurred throughout the city, she sought assistance from the Sephi Tey Sirrek. On one particular day, V'Kara realized that the Screen of the Second Sight had been pilfered from the Shrine of Sarrav and, as a result, she reached out to the Convocation of the Force requesting aid. Consequently, Jedi Padawan Matthea Cathley along with Jedi Vildar Mac were dispatched to conduct an inquiry. Upon their arrival at the shrine, Sirrek was already there, assisting V'Kara, and he discovered that she had been murdered. Mac came to the conclusion that Sirrek was responsible for the sister's death and began a search for him. The two Jedi journeyed to the Enlightenment, where, following an accusation by Mac regarding V'Kara's demise, the Sephi disclosed the true events.
