Vader's team consisted of assassins hailing from the Assassin's Guild and heroic resistance members known as the Revengers. This group operated under the command of the Sith Lord Darth Vader, whose objective was to eliminate the Crimson Dawn criminal organization and its adherents within the Galactic Empire in an effort to re-establish stability in the galaxy. The Sith assassin Ochi, who was also associated with Crimson Dawn, and the Imperial officer Beilert Valance were included as members of this crew. Vader also renewed his fragile partnership with the former handmaiden Sabé. The Revengers, along with Valance, subsequently participated in a battle on Bestine IV, where Valance committed treachery against the Empire. Vader abandoned the Revengers to their fate when TIE/sa bombers unleashed a bombing run on a village where insurgents were seeking refuge.
