Together with her companions, Moxxin and Traff, she pilfered the Cantonarive crown coin belonging to Baron Administrator Lando Calrissian. Their scheme involved handing over the coin to the crime boss Wonn Ionstrike in exchange for compensation, but Calrissian tried to dissuade them. After Calrissian explained to the children that he required the coin to compensate a grand slicer capable of defending Cloud City against the Galactic Empire, Vanraya intervened, preventing the exchange with Ionstrike, and the trio gave the item back to Calrissian.
