Vargos 9, alternatively called Vargos Nine, represented a celestial body of the terrestrial type. In approximately 33 ABY, while searching for Sith relics, the archaeologist Mika Grey came across a group of First Order Raiders on Vargos 9. These Raiders were also in pursuit of relics for their Supreme Leader, Kylo Ren. By 34 ABY, Grey thought she had escaped their chase on Vargos 9. However, she encountered First Order troopers on the planet Ashas Ree, where they had followed her.
The initial mention of Vargos 9 occurred within "The Relic Raiders," which is the seventh installment of the second season of the animated television program Star Wars Resistance. This episode was broadcast on November 17, 2019. The 2023 publication of Star Wars: Timelines subsequently confirmed its designation as "Vargos Nine."
