Vasil Dorne

Vasil Dorne was a male Human who served the reconstituted Sith Empire within its Imperial Military. He participated in both the Great Galactic War and the subsequent Cold War against the Galactic Republic.

Biography

Vasil Dorne, a male Human, was born into the esteemed Dorne family of the Sith Empire circa 3703 BBY, roughly twenty years prior to the outbreak of the Great Galactic War. Continuing his family's legacy, he enlisted in the Imperial Military in 3685 BBY. He fought in the conflict against the Galactic Republic for two decades, eventually achieving the rank of garrison commander in 3665 BBY. This was the same year that he and his wife welcomed their second child, Elara. When the Treaty of Coruscant brought the war to a close in 3653 BBY, Dorne was elevated to the position of special attache within the Ministry of Intelligence. For the next ten years, during the Cold War, he worked to train Imperial Intelligence operatives in various combat specializations. His elder son, Aleksei, completed his technical specialization on the very day that Elara enlisted in 3647 BBY. However, Elara would defect from the Empire a mere two years later.

Dorne's career progressed, and he was promoted from garrison commander to special attache to the Ministry of Intelligence. In this role, he served as an instructor for agents of Imperial Intelligence. During the period of the Cold War, he directed the individual who would become known as Cipher Nine to the Imperial Intelligence Quartermaster to receive advanced combat instruction.

Behind the scenes

Before it was removed from the game, Vasil Dorne was the quest giver for the "Advanced Training: Imperial Agent" mission, which was available to Imperial Agent players upon completion of the planet of Hutta in the 2011 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic. He was stationed on both Vaiken Spacedock and Dromund Kaas, where he would guide players to their Advanced Class trainer, the Imperial Intelligence Quartermaster.
