Veknoids were a sentient species characterized by their prominent underbites, pointed teeth, thin tails, and fleshy ears located on the tops of their heads. A well-known Veknoid was Teemto Pagalies, an extravagant Podracer pilot hailing from Moonus Mandel. Pagalies participated in a Boonta Eve Classic Podrace held on Tatooine, but Tusken Raiders shot down his Podracer during the event. The arena grandstands held at a minimum two other Veknoids who were observing the competition.
