Vemian, a human female and younger sibling to Jerid, was a follower of the Path of the Open Hand religion. Residing at the Path compound located on the planet Dalna, she, along with the other Path's Littles, received care from Marda Ro. Vemian had a fondness for clinging to Ro's hip, subsequently concealing herself and mimicking her actions.
During 382 BBY, a Jedi made an appearance at a station where Ro and the Littles were distributing flowers in the market of the Dalnan city Ferdan. Upon the Jedi's utilization of the Force, Ro diverted Vemian's gaze to shield her from witnessing it, as the Path held the conviction that the Force should remain unused. Subsequently, Ro delivered a discourse to the Littles, cautioning them against the Jedi's practices and asserting that the Path would ultimately usher in 'clarity' to the galaxy. Vemian then echoed the word 'clarity', gazing up at Ro in a manner that underscored the profound esteem she held for her.
