Verge was a twenty years old male human who achieved the rank of [Prelate]. He was the youngest member of Emperor Palpatine's Ruling Council, making him a prominent figure in the Emperor's regime. Speculation arose that Verge was the son of one of Palpatine's many ministers. The gossip also suggested he constructed a mansion on Naboo with a small, personal shrine dedicated to Palpatine's greatness, and that Verge altered his own appearance to resemble the Emperor. His personal ship was the [Herald], an Imperial II-class Star Destroyer.
Verge chose Tabor Seitaron to be the captain of his flagship, bringing him out of retirement, as they pursued the Imperial defector Everi Chalis. During the Siege of Inyusu Tor, Verge met his end at the hands of Seitaron.
Seitaron described Verge as a capable analyst who appeared to have real concern for his troops, but also noted his violent and severe nature.
Alexander Freed's novel Battlefront: Twilight Company, released in 2015, marked Verge's initial appearance.
