This empire was a Sith realm founded within the Grumani sector by the Sith Lord Vilia Calimondra during the time of the Republic Dark Age. Calimondra, having seven offspring, initiated a competition in 1066 BBY known as the Charge Matrica, tasking each of them with extending her dominion to ascertain her true successor. Each of her children believed they were the rightful inheritor of her possessions. However, the siblings engaged in internecine warfare. Ultimately, only Chagras, Calimondra's son, survived, thereby inheriting her empire. While Chagras established his own state, known as the Chagras Hegemony, Calimondra maintained dominion over the majority of her territories. Upon Chagras' death in 1040 BBY, Calimondra initiated a second Charge Matrica to select a new heir from her grandchildren.
