Viraxo 54

Within the Denbo system, Viraxo 54 functioned as a Cargo Facility 1 belonging to VenteX Construction Yards. This bustling port, a property of the Viraxo Industries shipping conglomerate, saw frequent visits from numerous cargo ships.

Background

Antan Azzameen devised a plan for revenge after the Viraxo planted a shipment of spice in an Azzameen storage area. His scheme involved planting spice at a Viraxo installation, ensuring its discovery by the Imperials. Viraxo 54 was selected as the target for this covert operation. Aeron Azzameen, piloting the YT-1300 freighter Selu disguised as the Venix, was tasked with depositing the spice container at the depot. Simultaneously, her brothers Emon and Ace were scheduled to emerge from hyperspace and execute a swift strike against the station. The expectation was that the facility's distress signal would prompt a rapid response from the local Imperial garrison, leading them to investigate the area and uncover the illicit spice.

Regrettably, the timing of the attack was slightly miscalculated. The Azzameen brothers materialized in the Denbo system before Aeron could complete the spice drop, compelling her to abandon ship and seek refuge aboard Emon's Andrasta. Concurrent with this, Ace created a diversion by unleashing havoc on the cargo vessels and transports using the Sabra's laser cannons. The Azzameens also destroyed the Pursuer-class enforcement ship Enkidu while it was defending the station.

After Aeron's safe retrieval onto the Andrasta, Ace directed his lasers at the now-crippled Selu, thus eliminating any evidence linking the Azzameens to the spice smuggling. With their objective only partially fulfilled, the Azzameens jumped to hyperspace just as the Victory II-class Star Destroyer Intruder arrived to examine the situation.
