A vonduun skull helmet, which could also be referred to as a vonduun crab skull mask, a vonduun crab helmet, or simply a vonduun helmet, was a specialized type of helmet utilized by individuals of the Aloxian species to assist in controlling their emotional state until they reached full maturity. The Jedi Knight Qort, who was an Aloxian, stated that while the helmets suppressed some of their physical power, they effectively maintained their mental blocks. These helmets were constructed from the skulls of vonduun crabs originating from the planet Zav Alox; the Aloxian people hunted these creatures as a component of their initiation ceremony.
