The Toydarian city of Riar was the location from which the Toydarian merchant Walisi was abducted. The mercenary named Wrecker carried out the abduction, having been contracted by the Nightsisters individual Jerserra. This kidnapping was motivated by Walisi's endeavor to sell a statue known as Tragic Hope, which held a fragment of the Nardithi Cluster, a significant Dathomirian artifact.
To abduct Walisi and seize Tragic Hope, Wrecker received 25,000 credits as payment. The arrangement stipulated that he could not take any other merchandise from Walisi's shop. Despite the presence of security droids guarding Walisi, Wrecker's Mercenaries managed to overpower them without much difficulty.
