Warmonger was a designation given to Wookiee leaders, specifically those who led Wookiee warriors on their homeworld of Kashyyyk. These leaders were analogous to Generals and wore a specific kind of ceremonial armor. Grozz, a Wookiee Hunter, would occasionally wear a set of this armor as a way to mimic a Warmonger while battling in the Grand Arena located on the planet Vespaara.
The concept of Wookiee Warmongers initially appeared in the competitive video game known as Star Wars: Hunters.
