Wetyin's Colony served as the primary settlement on Yavin 4's moon, originating from the migration of settlers from the planet Setor who sought to become farmers. Following the Battle of Endor, Shara Bey and Kes Dameron established a residence there after their service concluded within the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Securing their own residence fulfilled a long-held aspiration, especially considering their separation from each other and their son, Poe, throughout a significant portion of the Galactic Civil War. After they occupied their new home, the couple cultivated one of the last two pieces of a Great Tree that had historically stood at the center of the Jedi Temple, after Bey and Luke Skywalker recovered them from the possession of the Galactic Empire.
