Whip-snake
Whip-snakes, a species of snake, were recognized for their high level of intelligence. During 4 ABY on the planet Akiva, located in the Outer Rim, Shirene, a woman who was the sister-in-law of New Republic pilot Norra Wexley, drew a comparison between the cleverness of Norra's son Temmin Wexley and the intelligence of a whip-snake as they discussed the difficulties of his upbringing.
