Wilfred Quelsh

A male Human hailing from Corellia, Wilfred Quelsh achieved significant recognition as a law enforcement officer within the CorSec. However, his reputation crumbled when it came to light that he had not only framed a colleague but also murdered him during the era of the Galactic Civil War.

Biography

Years prior to the pivotal Battle of Yavin, Wilfred Quelsh served within the ranks of the Corellian Security Force. At some point, Quelsh accepted bribes from smugglers, turning a blind eye to their illicit activities of importing contraband onto Corellia. He then orchestrated a scheme to frame a fellow officer, Kal Braggan, for his own crimes. Braggan, the victim of this betrayal, faced conviction, expulsion from CorSec, and imprisonment for several years. In stark contrast, Quelsh received the prestigious Corellian Medal of Honor for his supposed "battle" against corruption within CorSec.

Throughout his career, he advanced to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before retiring in the city of Tyrena. During his retirement, Edbr Yamagh served as his aide.

Years after his wrongful imprisonment, Braggan was released and embraced a life of crime, leading his own gang known as Braggan's Fist. Braggan eventually uncovered Quelsh's treachery and secured evidence of Quelsh's involvement in accepting bribes from smugglers. He meticulously documented his findings in his journal. In 1 ABY, Braggan arranged a meeting with Quelsh, presenting the irrefutable proof of Quelsh's crimes. However, the encounter turned violent, resulting in Quelsh murdering Braggan. In a state of panic, Quelsh fled the scene, inadvertently dropping his Medal of Honor. Upon realizing the medal was missing, he initiated a search, even enlisting CorSec's assistance. Major Walden assigned an independent agent to investigate the "theft" of the Medal. Unbeknownst to Quelsh, the agent uncovered the connection to Braggan's Fist and ultimately discovered Kal Braggan's body alongside Quelsh's medal. Braggan's journal revealed the extent of Quelsh's criminal activities. The medal, once a symbol of his false heroism, now became the catalyst for his downfall.

Ultimately, Quelsh was apprehended by CorSec, and Major Walden assured the agent that Quelsh would be held accountable for his misdeeds.
