Kal Braggan was a CorSec officer who later became a criminal. This male individual resided on Corellia during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
Some years prior to the Battle of Yavin, Kal Braggan served as a member of CorSec. He was, at some point, falsely accused by a fellow officer, Wilfred Quelsh, of accepting bribes from smugglers to permit the entry of contraband into Corellia. Quelsh was subsequently awarded the Corellian Medal of Honor, while Braggan was found guilty, dismissed from his position, and incarcerated for a significant duration. After his release from prison, Braggan established a criminal syndicate known as Braggan's Fist.
In 1 ABY, Kal Braggan obtained evidence that would prove his innocence and confronted Lieutenant Colonel Wilfred Quelsh about it. Quelsh, in a state of panic, murdered Braggan and dropped his Corellian Medal of Honor near the corpse. Later, CorSec Major Walden tasked a spacer with the mission to recover the misplaced medal. The spacer found the location of Braggan's Fist Camp and discovered the medal beside Braggan's remains. The spacer also recovered Braggan's datapad, which contained definitive proof of the frame-up. Ultimately, Major Walden brought Wilfred Quelsh to justice for the crimes he committed.
The remains of Kal Braggan were featured in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and released by LucasArts. It was available until its shutdown on December 15, 2011. Kal Braggan's inclusion in the game occurred with the "Chapter 1: The Corellian Captives" update, which was released on June 8, 2006. Due to technical limitations of the game, Braggan was represented as a skeleton, despite the fact that his death was recent.
