Wilson served as a human administrator within the Galactic Republic on the planet Coruscant, his service occurring during the High Republic Era. His profession involved instructing diplomats.

His past includes a period as a cadet at the Carida Military Academy, where he held the rank of senior cadet. During this time, Lourna Dee, who would later become a Nihil Tempest Runner, was a first-year cadet. He exploited the younger Twi'lek cadet, ordering her to complete trivial jobs for him, justifying it with his seniority, even though she demonstrated greater skill in starfighter maintenance. Dee retaliated by attacking Wilson's associate, Lalutin, using a servo driver that he had insisted she provide, almost resulting in the death of the Selkath cadet. Subsequently, Wilson and Dee engaged in hand-to-hand combat, which was interrupted by the arrival of Captain Reese of the Academy. Following this, Dee managed to flee using a stolen fighter.
