Wyellett, a male Human, achieved the rank of Jedi Master and became recognized as one of the celebrated Jedi heroes during the era of the Great Galactic War. He held a profound reverence for life and prioritized connection with the Force over utilizing his abilities for combat, yet he consistently demonstrated his prowess in battle. On one occasion, when his Padawan, Xerender, engaged Darth Baras in combat, Wyellett intervened, hoping to bring redemption to the Sith Lord. When this endeavor failed, Wyellett took possession of Baras's lightsaber, wielding it as his own to symbolize the transformation of darkness into light.
In a final act of heroism, Wyellett made the ultimate sacrifice to protect his Padawan, Xerender, and a significant portion of the Jedi Council from the formidable Starweird Queen. This act led to his capture by the Empire. The Imperial vessel transporting Wyellett met its end during the Battle of Hoth, leading to the widespread belief that Master Wyellett had perished. However, Wyellett was actually in a trance-like state beneath the wreckage of the downed ship, Star of Coruscant, attempting to psychically communicate with his former apprentice. Having moved beyond the concerns of this galaxy, Wyellett's powers had reached unprecedented levels.
Wyellett is finally found by his apprentice Xerender
During the events of the Galactic War in 3642 BBY, Xerender, now a Jedi Knight, eventually located Wyellett at the site of the Star of Coruscant wreckage. This reunion was cut short when the apprentice of Darth Baras located them and initiated a duel with Xerender. The Sith Warrior gained the upper hand over Xerender, prompting Wyellett to plead with the Sith Lord to spare his life. The Warrior refused and killed the young Jedi.
Unexpectedly, tremors shook the excavation site. The battle had compromised the stability of the area, and there was a risk of further tremors that could cause a collapse. Wyellett requested to be left alone, having transcended the concerns of the galaxy during his isolation, but the Warrior refused to comply. The Warrior engaged the Jedi Master in a duel and killed him.
If the Sith Warrior has light-sided tendencies, they might allow Wyellett and the unconscious Xerender to survive. Wyellett proposes a deal to the Warrior: if he and Xerender are buried alive in the cave, Baras's goal of removing them from the war effort would be achieved. The Warrior accepts. After ensuring Xerender's safety, Wyellett suggests that a single lightsaber throw from the outside would seal the Jedi inside. The Warrior complies.
