A Twi'lek soldier named Xaban, a female, fought with distinction in Havoc Squad. This elite group was part of the Republic Special Forces Division within the Republic Army. In approximately 3630 BBY, Major Aric Jorgan, the commander of the squad, led them on an unauthorized operation to Zakuul, a planet. There, they engaged in guerrilla warfare against the Eternal Empire, which had conquered the galaxy.
The character of Xaban made her debut in Star Wars: The Old Republic, specifically in the Digital Expansion Knights of the Fallen Empire. She was introduced in Chapter XI: Disavowed, which became available on March 10, 2016. Initially, Xaban's name was Xabar, but it was modified prior to the chapter's official launch.
