Zaddja, a celestial body of terrestrial nature, was found within the Zaddja system in the Outer Rim Territories, specifically at location H-15 on the Standard Galactic Grid. Its terrain featured oceans interspersed with island chains of white sand beaches. Due to the nightly inundation of the beaches by high tides, the inhabitants of Zaddja made their homes on airborne skiffs. A hyperspace route provided a connection between Zaddja and Gannaria, a planet situated in the Trilon sector.
The historian and author Eloc Throno included the celestial object in his book Traveler's Guide to Batuu, noting Zaddja as a destination reachable via a brief journey from the planet of Batuu.
Zaddja's initial mention occurred in Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, released by Fantasy Flight Games in 2016. Within the Star Wars Legends timeline, Zaddja's debut was in the comic Crimson Empire 1, penned by Mike Richardson and Randy Stradley, illustrated by Paul Gulacy, and published on December 7, 1997.
