Zarabarb, a male Gran who was a part of the Nihil, participated in the attack the Nihil launched against the planet Valo in 231 BBY. During this event, Zarabarb made his way to the holding cell of Ty Yorrick, Ram Jomaram, and Mantessa Chekkat. However, before Zarabarb was able to eliminate the prisoners, Yorrick employed a mind trick on the [Gran](/article/gran], successfully persuading him to free her and the other captives from their confinement. The arrival of a Mon Calamari Nihil caused Zarabarb to break free of his trance in confusion and shock, resulting in him firing upon his fellow Nihil, who in turn, shot him down.
