Zast Tri'vak, a male senator hailing from the Lannik species, served as the representative for Lannik within the Galactic Republic. Throughout the Clone Wars, a conflict between the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, suspicion arose regarding Tri'vak's potential connections to the Separatists. To probe these suspicions, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and Senator Padmé Amidala embarked on a undercover investigation of the politician, infiltrating the opulent starcruiser known as the Halcyon. Their objective was to ascertain whether Tri'vak intended to align himself with the Separatists and disrupt Republic supply lines.
