Zimbokk, a Gand and fellow member of Zuckuss' clan, shared kinship with Zuckuss. In the time before 4 ABY, following Zuckuss' fall caused by Korgoss upon his arrival for the Great Rite, Zimbokk assisted Zuckuss in standing up. He advised Zuckuss to disregard Korgoss' words, specifically the claim that the clan viewed him as inferior and felt shame for sharing an egg and birth with him. Zimbokk then expressed a hope that the spirits of their planet would grant them swift and compassionate deaths. Zuckuss, finding himself without a suitable reply, simply offered his gratitude to Zimbokk, a Gand of the same clan.
