128th Fighter Group

Behind the scenes

The initial reference to the 128th Fighter Group within the current Star Wars canon occurred in 2015, specifically within the thirty-third issue of De Agostini's Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine. Conversely, in the Star Wars Legends timeline, the unit's debut was as the 128th TIE Interceptor Squadron within the 1998 video game Star Wars: Rogue Squadron developed by LucasArts.
