142 BBY

142 BBY, which stands for 142 Before the Battle of Yavin, represents a specific year within the 'ABY-BBY' chronological framework and falls within the period known as the High Republic Era. It was during this year that Jedi Master Torbin undertook the Barash Vow, commencing a period of silent meditation as a form of penance for his involvement in a past incident that occurred on the planet Brendok in 148 BBY. A decade afterward, specifically in 132 BBY, another Jedi Master informed Jedi Master Sol, who had journeyed to the Jedi temple situated on the planet Olega with the intention of conversing with Torbin, that Torbin had maintained his silence for more than a decade.
