A Takodana Culinary Experience was a food item designed for children that could be purchased at Tuggs' Grub. This occurred when the traveling eatery was stationed at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo located within Black Spire Outpost on the world of Batuu around 34 ABY. It was intended for human ingestion. The Artiodac cook Strono Tuggs had previously been employed by Maz Kanata, who operated a drinking establishment inside her fortress found on the planet of Takodana, until its razing during 34 ABY. Tuggs had a reputation in the Outer Rim, leading numerous individuals to desire what Tuggs referred to as "a taste of Takodana" within his culinary guide, The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook. He initiated operations for Tuggs' Grub from a repurposed transport vessel, writing about it: "It's afforded me the opportunity to share not only a taste of Takodana but a whole galaxy of flavors." The phrase "A Taste of Takodana" became Tuggs' Grub's motto, and the corresponding dish was offered when he served as the guest chef at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.
A Taste of Takodana is a meal for kids available at the physical Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo within the themed area Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. The description on the menu states: "Black Bean Hummus, Edible Soil with Nuts, Chilled Dipping Vegetables, and Multigrain Crisps with a side of 'Ranch' dressing served with choice of Small Lowfat Milk or Small DASANI® Water. Meets Disney Nutrition Guidelines for Complete Meals without substitutions." Since its original launch, it has undergone name changes to "Takodana Veggie Dippers Youngling Meal" and then to just "Takodana Veggie Dippers."
