Line battlegroup

A line battlegroup represented a military structure within the Imperial Army.

Organization

A battlegroup of the line variety consisted of a battlegroup headquarters, an assault regiment, and three line regiments. Its composition involved 14,410 individuals, 511 repulsorcraft, and 53 heavy tanks. Following the emergence of the Alliance to Restore the Republic, line battlegroups were often perceived as not having sufficient strength.

The addition of a repulsorlift regiment, 2 artillery regiments, and another line regiment could reinforce line battlegroups.
