Luzalite was a planet that was little-known by the time of the High Republic Era. Kozmo Sundrel IV was a Luzalite lord hailing from Luzalite, and a variety of diamond—from which Sundrel's Luzalite diamond medallion was fashioned—was also from the planet. By 396 BBY, Sundrel had become active in the wider galaxy. Around that same year, when Reena University student Axel Greylark spoke to his father—Galactic Republic Senator Lexxir Greylark—about his improved friendship with Sundrel, Lexxir referred to Sundrel's homeworld.
Luzalite was mentioned in the short story "The Queen's Bloom," written by Zoraida Córdova and published in the 2023 young-adult anthology The High Republic: Tales of Light and Life as a part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project.
