The Seventh Fleet, a component of the Republic Navy, came into existence between 22 BBY and 19 BBY. This fleet was operational during the Clone Wars, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. A particular ARC-170 starfighter within the fleet was manned by a clone trooper pilot who served as a gunner. This clone wore Phase I clone trooper armor featuring blue markings on their helmet, and was accompanied by a red R-series astromech droid. The starfighter once journeyed through space close to a green nebula.
The "Seventh Fleet Gunner" card, part of the ARC-170 Starfighter Expansion Pack for Fantasy Flight Games' Star Wars: X-Wing Second Edition miniatures game (2019), marked the debut of the Seventh Fleet in the new Star Wars canon. In Star Wars Legends, the Galactic Republic Seventh Fleet was initially referenced in the video game Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures, which was launched in 2010.
