Sync was a clone trooper in the Grand Army of the Galactic Republic. During the Clone Wars, Sync deserted from the Republic, but was returned to Kamino, placed in a squad of troopers who had defected, led by Heater. The unit was sent on an assault on a Confederacy of Independent Systems weapons depot, and Sync believed they would be able to redeem themselves and return to service. Sync was known for his optimistic attitude.
