A settlement of Tusken Raiders existed on the planet of Tatooine, situated within the deserts of the Outer Rim before the Clone Wars began. This village faced destruction at the hands of Anakin Skywalker, who sought vengeance for the death of his mother, Shmi Skywalker Lars.
Serving as a dwelling place for a tribe of Tusken Raiders, this encampment was established on the Outer Rim planet of Tatooine. Nestled in the desert terrain, the camp was strategically positioned amidst several mountains. It comprised more than twenty huts, providing shelter for the Tusken community. Fires burned outside many of the huts, illuminating the camp.
In 22 BBY, Shmi Skywalker Lars was abducted from her home by the Tusken Raiders residing in this particular camp. Taken back to their settlement, she endured severe beatings and was held captive as a prisoner for a month. Her son, Jedi Padawan Anakin Skywalker, journeyed to Tatooine in search of her arrival. Tragically, she died in his embrace, and overwhelmed by grief, Skywalker unleashed his lightsaber (his) upon the entire Tusken Raider population within the camp, killing them all.
