Kelsome

Hey, I honestly don't think the bold type in the bio is a big deal, but if you really feel it necessary that it should be in the introduction, I don't mind making the change. Toprawa and Ralltiir 23:19, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

  • I wouldn't say it's a big deal, but just for consistency's sake, I think it'd be better. Usually, in that case, we'd put a callsign in quotation marks, IIRC. Thefourdotelipsis 23:22, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Yeb Yeb Adem'thorn

Hey Fourdot. I just wanted to let you know that Yeb Yeb Adem'thorn has been archived. 04:42, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

Battle droids

Instead of cluttering up your talk page with too many of these notices in a row, I wanted to let you know that 1138 (Trade Federation) and 3B3-21 were archived as well. 21:50, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

ROFL

Hey, this has nothing to do with anything, but I was viewing your caption page and found it hilarious. If you're wondering why I was looking at it, well, it...showed up on recent changes. Yeah (actually, there was a link to it on another page). :P Chack Jadson 23:15, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

Lobar Aybock

Hey, I see that you were the main one working that got Lobar Aybock up to FA status. I just wanted to bring your attention to an addition of a new infobox image showing him unmasked. I then moved the current infobox image down into the article. Take a look to see if you approve. You can revert it if you don't. - JMAS 18:49, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

The new Triage system

After the Inquisitorius' most recent meeting, it was decided to enact a triage system for dealing with the large number of nominations on the FAN page. has been set up in the Inquisitorius forum to make it easier for Inqs to see what nominations are best focused on for clearing out the nomination page. This is a tool for helping Inqs combine their efforts on articles, and shouldn't be taken as mandatory; as usual, any Inq is free to review any article they want. - Lord Hydronium 03:21, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Battle of Ryloth

Hi, Four Dot. First of all, thanks for the review of the Battle of Ryloth article; it's nice to have an Inq take a look at it. Please excuse me if you prefer not to have FAN messages on your talk page, but I wasn't sure where else to directly ask you this. I was wondering, for the image of the three Venator-class cruisers getting damaged over Ryloth, how would you recommend placing it? I know that you reverted my modification of that when it was placed directly next to the infobox, but right now, it's extremely close to the next image. Would you recommend keeping it that way? Thanks. CC7567 05:24, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

  • Ah, I see. No problem, thanks for clarifying. CC7567 15:36, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

RE: Sedriss

But of course, that's no problem. I have now translated the first two pages of Sedriss' entry. I'll try to do the rest later this evening. (Update: I had some spare time and added the rest. I hope there was nothing lost in translation, let me know if something's not entirely clear.)

Thune

Here's the profile shot of Thune. There are a couple of pics in the story, but both are spine-huggers—one I could probably get, but the other is doubtful. And she's a main character in the story, so you're probably gonna need the whole thing—which I can do, so just let me know. -- Ozzel 03:22, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Darth Bandon FAN

Hey, FourDot. I believe I've taken care of your objections to the article.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 14:10, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

  • OK, in the intro, how would you take care of this? He killed the Republic ensign, Trask Ulgo, who sacrificed himself to save Revan—who had been rescued by Shan after Malak's betrayal, and reprogrammed to be loyal to the Republic by the Jedi Council. Because we can't not mention the fact that Revan was alive and reprogrammed.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 14:54, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
  • Also, if Calo Nord hadn't been hired, and ultimately killed by Revan, Malak wouldn;t have sent him after Shan, so I feel it's important in the intro.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 15:02, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
  • Fair enough, I left some questions for you in the "Comments" section of the nomination.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 15:27, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
  • Have you read my comments on the objections yet?--Jedi Kasra (talk) 14:58, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
  • I'll take care of your objections Monday.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 16:29, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
  • Hey, Fourdot, I'm going to be at driving school for the next couple weeks, so I might not contribute as much, but I intend to take care of those objections. I think I took care of one of them, please chack it out.--Jedi Kasra (talk) 16:09, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

Kallidahin quotes

The quotes will eventually go but, as you know, there's a current CT thread that uses the current "quote-state" of the article to exemplify the point of the discussion. Although the thread deals with the main quote, the other quotes illustrate "available quotes for the article." I wouldn't like to remove them as it could affect the CT should new voters go there; neither I want to replace the link to Kallidahin with a point in the past, because that could influence new voters going there ("See, even the author changed it"). I'll delete the offending quotes when the vote is over. Thank you for your review. --Skippy Farlstendoiro 06:29, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Reff'ing Kallidahin

To avoid congestion in the FAN page, I've answered Eyrezer in his own talk page, simply because he was the original objector. I respectfully request you to visit Eyrezer's talk page for the new details; I hope we can settle the situation asap, and that was the reason of the post. --Skippy Farlstendoiro 12:18, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

INQCON

Yes sir. I've already begun to explore and familiarize myself with the intricacies of the new system. I'll get to making the changes that apply to me asap, as long as my REC allows me to. And thanks for the condolences, they are much appreciated.—Tommy9281 01:04, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

Triage

A new Triage meeting has been scheduled for next Sunday, June 14, at 23:00 UTC. We hope you will be able to attend, as there are a fair amount of nominations that need sorting. Chack Jadson 14:00, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

Attichitcuk

Hey there, 4Dot. Sorry to disturb you on your hiatus and whatnot, (and I hope life's treating you well and all) but I seem to remember that you'd seen the Star Wars Holiday Special, which is how you got the sources for the late Ms. Arthur's article. Does it source Attichitcuk as the Wookiee Chieftain, please? Cheers, mate. --Darth tom (Imperial Intelligence) 20:06, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

  • Sorry, I thought I'd replied to this. In any case, thanks all the same, 4Dot. It's been sourced and passed. Cheers. :) --Darth tom(Imperial Intelligence) 06:44, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Inq meeting

Hello. An Inq meeting is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, at 2300 UTC. Please try to attend, because we will be talking about the current state of the FAN page, what with all the summer noms. Apologies for the late notice. Chack Jadson 00:59, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

Power of the Force toy line

Considering you worked on Continuity section of several toy line articles, including the one from 1995-1998, I have a question regarding a series of toys with canonical information on them, though its been difficult to use it as a source on Wookiee for some reason. They are planet spheres of Tatooine, Endor, and the Death Star, with locations noted on their surfaces. Inside each sphere is a figure and a scene from one of the films. I believe I've already had an article or several deleted because the source was not a book or other form of media. comes to mind. Would you happen to know what I speak of? -- Riffsyphon1024 19:55, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Frog-Dogs

Hey, Fourdot. I know you're not all that active these days, but do you happen to remember where Frog-Dogs appear in Star Wars: The Action Figure Archive? I'm thinking about expanding their article, so I hoped you'd be able to point me in the right direction. Thanks! ~ SavageBob 05:43, January 5, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Janu Godalhi

Hey Fourdot. I apologize, but unfortunately, that's one of the few TCW books that I don't have access to right now. I'm planning on getting it soon, but I'm not sure how soon that "soon" will be. Also, I'm not even sure if anyone on the site has it—the only direction I can point you in is that you might be able to contact someone through TheForce.net for the info, as that's where Mauser got it. Hope that at least helps. CC7567 19:05, April 10, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Lemelisk

I added the missing-info tag in my process of GAing Hefi, when I discovered that the SWE Hefi entry discusses Lemelisk's Hefi retreat in different terms than any other source. That entry seems to suggest that Lemelisk hiding on Hefi was "apocryphal," as the source describes it, and might not have happened at all. I devoted an "Inconsistencies" BTS subsection to the seeming contradiction in the Hefi article, which, if you take a look, explains how I basically treated the discrepancy as competing reports. I figure the Lemelisk article deserves some kind of mention along those lines. It's interesting how SWE decided to insert these little scraps of new info that have never popped up anywhere else, i.e. the death of Pello Scrambas. Toprawa and Ralltiir 04:31, April 14, 2010 (UTC)

  • That was also my guess, that he tried to rectify the Darksaber inconsistency. If the change works for you, go for it. Feel free to remove the update tag. Toprawa and Ralltiir 04:58, April 14, 2010 (UTC)

Executor Scoundrel's Luck canon path

Ok, I'll try to explain all of this. The Executor Scoundrel's Luck-CSWE information begins on pg. 65. I have included short page summaries to help with navigation, and the non-canon ending(s) for each of these as well (non-canon because they either don't follow or contradict the stated path of events in CSWE). Everything in bold represents the canon path. The canon page sequence is 65-74-78-88. There may or may not be other Piett information within this portion of the story. I can't remember.

Piett

Think I found most of what you needed. A private message from SWG player ZeridanShear reads:

"Captain Firmus Piett, initially found at the Emperor’s Retreat in the mountains of Naboo, was dispatched to the isolated world of Dathomir in response to the outbreak of a deadly virus. Initial reports from the Research Facility located at the center of the Quarantine Zone give mention of the ‘walking dead. Rumors of survivors and holdouts against these unimaginable creatures reached the ears of Imperial agents. Piett, for the Imperial faction players of Star Wars: Galaxies, requests assistance in retrieving a sample of the virus for further study. Along the way, the rescue of survivors and exploration of the facility is a necessary step in achieving this goal – a note Piett makes mention of before sending the player into the Quarantine Zone.

SPOILER STUFF:

Once the player returns to Piett upon successful rescue of the scientists in the Research Facility, Lord Vader comms the player and praises him/her for the successful retrieval."

Some more stuff can be found in the thread, but I think the above about covers it. --Imperialles 18:36, April 20, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me know that I will be involved with voting, I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to since I wasn't really a part of anything yet. It makes me feel better that I can contribute in more ways than just editing now. TK-299 13:49, May 29, 2010 (UTC)

  • I didn't realize that I could vote on FA as well, I will definately start reading through them. I have gone through a few GA already. Everything to do with writing seems daunting at this point, I wasn't the best at it, but I am learning quick. I see what other people write and sometimes I get inspired and think I could improve something. Once I finally get a good paragraph typed up on something, I believe it will spread like wildfire. I caught on to sourcing and referencing things pretty quick, so that's mainly what I've been doing. Then I made it a goal to go through all the Mid Rim systems and get them up to date using The Essential Atlas Online Companion. But, I have also added in a few sentences of my own here and there, but just basic stuff, testing the waters so to speak. Thanks again for all the input, it helps to have friendly people around to assist with everything, and sorry for the long reply, I'm a talker :) TK-299 14:07, May 29, 2010 (UTC)

Your favorite guys

Hey, Fourdot, if you still need some Carlist Rieekan and Firmus Piett information from the Annotated Screenplays, here it is: I checked through the ESB pages, and there's no bts or new information about Rieekan. For Piett, the final ESB script says that Piett's promotion took place sometime before Ozzel was choked to death. After Vader said "Admiral Piett," Piett looks at Ozzel who then falls. A little different than what appears in the final film. Also in the script, it says "Piett looked at Vader in terror" before Vader turns around and puts his hands behind his back and walks out of the bridge.

In ROTJ's rough draft, Piett was stationed onboard the Executor, which is above the planet Had Abbadon. Verbatim: "Vader asks Piett where he can find 'Grand Moff' Jerjerrod. Piett explains that he is in the private communication chamber; all-surveillance in the room has been cut off, and his coded transmission is undecipherable. Piett also infoms Vader that his extra patrol has arrived on the Sanctuary Moon with General Veers under command to search for Rebels." Some dude named Captain Naffer was in-command of the Executor, and not Piett. Later, "Leia and some random guy called Captain Jode have blown up the communications dish on Had Abbadon. When the explosion occurs, and alarm goes off in Vader's Imperial Star Destroyer. Piett tells Vader that all communications have been cut off but that their radar has detected a large fleet coming out of hyperspace. Vader's orders him to send all available ships to protect the two Death Stars and to send Veers more reinforcements on the Green Moon while he is taking Skywalker to the Emperor." Piett's death remains the same.

I looked in the Piett article and it's missing Empire at War information. But, don't worry, if you don't have the game, I have it and could give you information if you need it.

That's it, I guess. Also, Executor was called the "the Imperial Super Star Destroyer" or "Vader's Star Destroyer." But hey, guess what. I am in need of CSWE info! I need some information on CT-55/11-9009, nicknamed "Jag." Take care man, JangFett 05:27, June 22, 2010 (UTC)

Hey there Fourdot. I wanted to offer a suggestion as an alternative to the current infobox image for Ganch. It's a farther back shot of him, but it shows him as he normally looks, not crazed with pinprick pupils under the influence of a Separatist mind-altering device as the current image depicts him. - JMAS 10:29, August 16, 2010 (UTC)

Warning

Watch your mouth when commenting in public forums on this wiki. Indiscriminately dropping the F-bomb to channel your rage at other users of a certain reviewing body is unacceptable behavior and will not be tolerated, by you or anyone, on this wiki. Whether we have a formal ban on the use of profanity or not, this type of thing will not fly. I interpret this as little more than unchecked incivility and an indirect Personal Attack directed squarely at each and every one of these fifteen individual users. If you don't like a proposal or new measure made by anyone on this wiki, then find a way to voice your dissatisfaction through civil discourse. If I witness anything similar to this from you again, I will personally block you from editing. Consider this your administrative warning, and don't do it again. GAN page

Welcome back to the site, Fourdot. I'd just like to let you know that nominators are still restricted to four nominations on the GAN page (currently, you have eight nominations). Ordinarily I wouldn't have a problem with it, but I don't think it would be fair to other nominators if the AgriCorps let it slide this time. Therefore, I'd like to ask you to request that your four latest nominations be removed for the time being so that the four-nomination limit may be met (you may, of course, re-nominate the articles in question once your other nominations are archived). Thank you. Grand Moff Tranner 13:56, August 30, 2011 (UTC)

Cane Adiss

Hello fourdot, just a heads-up that I started this voting forum discussing whether or not in-universe "fate is unknown" statements from canon sources are to be included in the articles on this wiki, as they are valid published statements, not just some WP user's attempt at closure. If passed, I know that Cane Adiss will need a really minor update reflecting that it was unknown if he escaped the sail barge's destruction or not. Hanzo Hasashi 19:25, October 6, 2011 (UTC)

Toba

Hey. Noticed you were doing a bit of work on Toba. I did a bunch of stuff for Rorworr and came across a few things for Toba in the process:

  • Not much for Toba, except confirmation of meeting Rorworr before Invasion of Threed.
  • "Peril in the Ionosphere" — Star Wars Gamer 1 a) A caption mentions fast-play adventure uses Players from Invasion of Theed Adventure Game. b) The game describes all non-IoTAG characters on the shuttle: Three human passengers and one Ithorian captain. c) One image shows a Gungan trying to wrestle with Fair Gale's controls. Toba is the only Gungan from Peril in the Ionosphere's documented potential character pool. It's up to you if that's confirmation of Toba by process of elimination, or speculation/original research.
  • Invasion of Theed Adventure Game has five or six adventures (Adventure 3 has two variants that can either both happen or not). Toba's bio excludes him from participating in Adventure 4, which occurs simultaneously with the Great Grass Battle, but he's still a possible participant in the other adventures. I do not have access to Star Wars: The Official Starships & Vehicles Collection 62, but supposedly that issue may confirm some members of the Naboo Underground.
  • Other Adventure Games supplements that say they use IOTAG characters are Signal Interruption, The Fall of Cloud City, A Night at Tosche Station, and Battle in the Streets! Toba cannot be a participant in Battle in the Streets! however, as it also occurs during the Great Grass Battle.

Cronal

Hello Fourdot! Since you're back among us, I wanted to let you know that your former Cronal FA requires an update per the latest SW.com blog post, The Star Wars Spy Game: SPIN Declassified. Apparently, Cronal did die at Mindor, and the "later Blackhole" was in fact Sate Pestage. --LelalMekha (talk) 14:55, December 13, 2013 (UTC)
