Lieutenant Aagon served within the Galactic Civil War as a male human stormtrooper. He found himself under the command of Jerec, assigned to the Vengeance Battle Group.
During Jerec's pursuit of the Valley of the Jedi, Aagon was among those assigned to him. Following their arrival on Ruusan in 5 ABY, Aagon became a member of his Vengeance Battle Group.
Though typically a squad leader, Aagon had a habit of alleviating the monotony of his duties and boosting his men's spirits by engaging in hunts against the Bouncers, the sentient indigenous species of the planet, even if it required exceeding their authorized perimeter. His soldiers would retain the corpses of their slain prey, displaying them as trophies above their bunks, while Aagon himself had skinned a dozen, using them to decorate his corridor. Their comrades were unaware of the origin of these decorations.
One ill-fated evening, he commanded Patrol 341, which included skimmer Zeta 19 with Sergeant Forley piloting as helmsman and Leeno operating as gunner. They were accompanied by a pair of speeder bikes. Despite orders to patrol a region of ravines and gullies, he, as was his custom, redirected his unit ten klicks northward, into a rocky labyrinth reputed to harbor more bouncers.
Upon arrival, they discovered a cluster of natives leaping through the air. The bikes' gunfire triggered a rockslide, scattering the bouncers. Sensing their impending doom, the bouncers huddled together, anticipating slaughter by the skimmer. Aagon felt the speeders were taking too long, prompting Speeder 1 to respond that they were rounding up those who escaped. Via comlink, Aagon then overheard blaster fire. Jan Ors, along with a band of outlaw colonists, had been observing them from the rocks and decided to intervene to protect the aliens.
He disembarked the skimmer, and the troopers sought cover behind nearby rocks. He instructed Forley to suppress the Rebels, planning a flanking maneuver from behind. Accompanied by six troopers, he advanced. He had to explain to the Sergeant, whom he considered lacking in intelligence, that they needed to locate the Alliance to Restore the Republic members who had initiated the attack. When the Sergeant suggested calling for backup, Aagon reminded him of their unauthorized location and the necessity to rely solely on the skimmer. From afar, he witnessed rock explosions and the deployment of flare. Unbeknownst to him, the rebels had also encircled them, silently eliminating the rear troopers.
The Sergeant posited a hit-and-fade strategy, but Aagon believed the Rebels were simply adept at concealment. He rose and brandished his blaster, only to be touched from behind and ordered to drop his weapon. Ignoring the command, Aagon attempted to turn and engage the man, but was swiftly killed by his lightsaber.
Following the skirmish, the Rebels gathered and meticulously buried the Imperial corpses, collecting any equipment that could implicate their involvement in the patrol's disappearance. Approximately two days after their expected return, searches were conducted within their designated area, yielding no results. Dark Jedi Yun was dispatched for a ground inspection. Upon observing the dead creatures displayed as trophies in the troopers' quarters, he deduced the area of their disappearance.
A resourceful officer, he placed value on recreation and amusement, keeping his soldiers engaged on patrol by leading them on hunts for the indigenous Bouncers, even if it meant venturing beyond their designated patrol zone on occasion.
During the desert engagement with the Rebels, he opted against requesting reinforcements, not only because they were outside their authorized area but also because he desired to claim exclusive credit for the victory.
In the audio adaptation of Dark Forces: Jedi Knight, Christopher Bloch provided the character's voice.
