The Ab Dalis system, a star system found within the Outer Rim Territories, was home to the planet known as Ab Dalis. This system lay beyond the Hetzal system along the Corellian Run, which is a hyperspace route. The freighter Legacy Run was traversing this route when it met its end in hyperspace. Consequently, the Ab Dalis system experienced the first Emergence of the Great Hyperspace Disaster, with pieces of the destroyed vessel entering the system at near lightspeed. While six of the seven fragments navigated through the system without impact, the seventh struck a glancing blow to Ab Dalis, the planet with the highest population, resulting in the killing of approximately twenty million individuals.
