The Animal Instincts were actually Jedi younglings who were acting as acrobats.
A performer known as an acrobat existed. Within Preigo's Traveling World of Wonder, many Twi'lek acrobats could be found. To become members of the circus, a group of Jedi younglings – specifically Petro, Katooni, Byph, Zatt, and Gungi – put on the guise of being acrobats.
