A Male criminal named Aldalad existed during the Galactic Civil War on the planet of Corellia.
Following the Battle of Yavin, Aldalad procured a significant quantity of illicit weaponry for Borvo, a Hutt crime lord. However, the Corellian Security Force, while investigating Borvo's operations on Corellia, apprehended him. Consequently, Aldalad consented to provide testimony against Borvo, in return for protection from CorSec and a peaceful retirement on Corellia's beaches.
In the year 1 ABY, the CorSec investigation into Borvo the Hutt concluded tragically when a spacer employed by Borvo assassinated Niksel Frangee, an undercover CorSec agent, on Naboo. Because nobody in the CorSec knew what Frangee looked like at the moment of his death, the spacer used Frangee's CorSec badge to impersonate Frangee on Corellia. Aldalad was scheduled to testify, but Captain Thale Dustrunner of CorSec divulged his secret location to Borvo's informant. The spacer working for Borvo, posing as an underling of Captain Dustrunner, then murdered Aldalad.

Aldalad was featured as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. The game existed until its servers were shut down on December 15, 2011. Aldalad's appearance was randomly generated from a pool of thirty-five possibilities, as he was generated using the generic "borvo_aldalad" template. Despite this, dialogue within quests identified him as male.
Aldalad was included in the game's initial release, specifically as a part of Borvo the Hutt's questline. On November 15, 2005, the "Publish 25," update, also known as the "New Game Enhancements," was released, and revamped Borvo the Hutt's questline. The gameplay of the questline was heavily modified, but the storyline remained largely unchanged. As part of a quest where players worked for Borvo the Hutt, they were tasked with killing Aldalad.
