Niksel Frangee served as a detective within the ranks of the Corellian Security Force during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
Agent Frangee's occupation was as a detective for the Corellian Security Force. Before the Battle of Yavin, he became part of an investigation targeting the Hutt crime lord known as Borvo. Frangee journeyed from Corellia to Naboo and successfully infiltrated Borvo the Hutt's criminal organization. Montrus, a business associate of Borvo's, facilitated Frangee's introduction to Borvo. For the subsequent six years, Frangee maintained his undercover identity, rising to a position of significance within the criminal enterprise. He even provided training to Borvo's personal bodyguard.
In 1 ABY, the CorSec investigation into Borvo the Hutt reached its culminating point. Consequently, a substantial police action was planned to ensnare the gang during an unlawful arms transaction in proximity to Moenia. The undertaking proved successful, resulting in the death or capture of nearly all of Borvo's associates. Dagorel, Borvo's right-hand man, was the sole escapee; however, he managed to inform Borvo of Frangee's betrayal. Subsequently, a spacer employed by Borvo murdered the detective in the Paitnnu Wetlands.
Over the six years that Niksel Frangee was undercover, all of his direct superiors had retired and been replaced. Therefore, no one in CorSec knew what Frangee looked like when he died. The spacer who committed the murder later used Frangee's CorSec identification to impersonate Frangee on Corellia. The spacer encountered Captain Thale Dustrunner, a senior officer in CorSec, within the Coronet Capitol. Dustrunner was deceived by the impersonation and mistook the spacer for the long-lost agent. He instructed him to safeguard Aldalad, a witness prepared to testify against Borvo, and Maerzen, who had discovered incriminating evidence against Borvo the Hutt. The spacer proceeded to kill both individuals and then returned to Naboo, leaving CorSec without any evidence to use against the Hutt crime lord.
Niksel Frangee made an appearance as a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, before it was shut down on December 15, 2011. Frangee's appearance was randomized from a selection of thirty-five possible depictions because he spawned using the generic "borvo_frangee" template. However, the scenario made it clear that he was male.
Frangee was included in the initial release of the game, as part of Borvo the Hutt's questline. With the release of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005, Borvo the Hutt's questline underwent a revamp. While the questline's gameplay was significantly improved, the story remained largely unchanged.
