CR-series

The CR-series, sometimes referred to as the CR line, represented a family of corvettes produced by the Corellian Engineering Corporation. This line encompassed several models, notably the CR56 corvette, the CR70 corvette, and the CR90 corvette. A notable precursor to the CR-series, appearing much earlier, was the Sphyrna-class Hammerhead corvette.

Given the widespread deployment of the CR70 and CR90 corvettes as diplomatic cruisers by the Royal House of Alderaan, the CR-series acquired alternative names such as Alderaanian diplomatic cruisers, Alderaanian cruisers, Alderaanian starships, or simply Alderaan cruisers.
