This fleet both took part in and emerged victorious from Operation Trinity, which occurred within the Bilbringi system. Upon entering the Bilbringi system, Alpha Fleet was tasked with broadcasting the system's vulnerabilities to the other fleets awaiting deployment; however, the Yuuzhan Vong countered by deploying the Mabugat kan, disabling several HoloNet relay stations. Consequently, Alpha Fleet found itself isolated within the system, lacking reinforcements and facing a significant numerical disadvantage.
The Fleet's survival in this battle was solely attributed to the strategic genius of Wedge Antilles, coupled with Han Solo's opportune capture of a concealed Golan II Space Defense SpaceGun.
