Ambidexterity describes the state where an individual can use both their left and right appendages with equal skill, as seen in various humanoid species. The clone troopers serving in the Grand Army of the Republic received training to proficiently handle their standard-issue blasters with either hand. Notably, all members of the Yevetha species exhibited ambidexterity, while Ruurians demonstrated identical proficiency with their two largest limbs.
Furthermore, droids such as C-3PO could also exhibit ambidextrous capabilities. The Morgukai were known for their ambidextrous fighting styles; Ma'kis'shaalas, a member who later defected to the Jedi, was one such example.
When applied to species possessing more than two hands, such as the Codru-Ji, Morseerians, Noehons, Troig and Xexto, this ability was termed multidexterity.
