Anakin's Dark Deeds

"Anakin's Dark Deeds," composed by John Williams, is featured on the soundtrack for Revenge of the Sith. This musical piece sonically depicts Darth Vader's slaughter of the Separatist Council, his internal conflict with the dark side, and, to a degree, Palpatine's transformation of the Galactic Republic into the Galactic Empire. The London Symphony Orchestra and London Voices performed it in 2005; it also incorporates elements of "The Imperial March." The piece is also present in the video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order during Darth Vader's appearances. Furthermore, this piece is used in the 11th episode of the 7th season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, entitled Shattered, during the events of Order 66.

The 2011 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic features "Anakin's Dark Deeds" during the scene where Anuli is killed by the Eidolon's forces.

A similar musical motif can be subtly heard in Star Wars Episode VIII The Last Jedi when Kylo Ren asks Rey to join him after they defeat Snoke and his Praetorian Guard. It is later heard more prominently when she tries to summon the Skywalker lightsaber using the Force, but Kylo intercepts it.
