Ancient shrine

An old sanctuary for meditation could be found within the temple-city of Kaleth, one of the nine Great Temples belonging to the ancient Je'daii Order, situated on the Deep Core world of Tython. This shrine was accessible via a tunnel located in the cliffs close to Kaleth's entrance, and it was constructed within a small, forested valley. The valley mainly consisted of open grass and trees, with the exception of the shrine itself. By the time of the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire, this shrine was small and largely dilapidated.

During the uprising led by the native Flesh Raiders of Tython, some Force-sensitive Flesh Raiders took to camping at the shrine. Jedi Master Orgus Din's apprentice was dispatched to look into the Flesh Raider activity in the vicinity and was taken aback to discover that the natives possessed the ability to speak and wield the Force. The Padawan, however, fought and defeated the Flesh Raiders and, at the instruction of Master Bela Kiwiiks, had security cameras installed in the area to ensure the natives did not come back.

Behind the scenes

This ancient shrine is featured in the 2011 BioWare massively-multiplayer online role-playing video game Star Wars: The Old Republic. It serves as a class-specific map for the Jedi Knight quest called "Enemy Force."
