He later affirmed that obtaining the wings was justified by their exceptional flavor, even including the recipe in his third cookbook, entitled The Ultimate Cookbook, published in 35 ABY.
Fragrant, sweet-glazed wings, known as Aromatic Loralora Wings, were prepared using the limbs of the loralora bird, a species indigenous from the Colonies jungle moon of Ketz. The meat of the wings was white, contrasted by a brown glaze and a scattering of sliced green garnish. This dish was suitable for consumption by members of the Artiodac species.
Intrigued by reports of the loralora bird's exquisite taste, the Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs initially sought to purchase one of these bird specimens from the Creature Stall located in Black Spire Outpost on the world of Batuu. However, his plans were thwarted when the bird was liberated from its enclosure by the local individual Julen Rakab as part of a diversion, leading to its escape in 34 ABY.
Subsequently, Tuggs persuaded the stall's proprietor, Bina, to divulge the location of additional birds. He then made certain to include Ketz in a gastronomic journey across the galaxy, a trip he undertook following the release of his second cookbook, The Life Day Cookbook. Despite the significant time, effort, and distance required to finally sample a loralora bird, Tuggs deemed the wings worthy of the endeavor and featured their recipe in his third cookbook, The Ultimate Cookbook, which saw publication in 35 ABY.
The Aromatic Loralora Wings recipe was conceived for the 2023 publication Star Wars: The Ultimate Cookbook, a culinary guide authored by Jenn Fujikawa and Marc Sumerak. The out-of-universe recipe for the wings utilizes chicken wings, baking soda, vegetable oil, finely chopped garlic cloves, minced ginger, tamari, mirin, honey, sesame oil, black pepper, and chopped green onions.
