Aruza, the homeworld of the Aruzan Manaroo (who was female), was a celestial object. By the year 3 ABY, Manaroo found herself in debt to Jabba Desilijic Tiure, the Hutt crime lord; consequently, Jabba held her prisoner within his palace located on Tatooine, a planet in the Outer Rim, as a means of control over her boyfriend, Dengar.
The reference book Star Wars Encyclopedia: The Comprehensive Guide to the Star Wars Galaxy, published in 2024, included a mention of Aruza within the current Star Wars canon. Within the Star Wars Legends continuity, the planet Aruza initially featured in "Payback: The Tale of Dengar," a short story penned by Dave Wolverton and included in the 1996 collection titled Tales of the Bounty Hunters.
